What does an estate planning conversation actually cover?
We begin by listening — to your family circumstances, your wishes, and any concerns you have. From there, we offer clear guidance on preparing a valid will under Thai law, identifying assets that may need particular attention, and the steps needed to put your affairs in order. There is no commitment to proceed until you are ready.
How long does probate administration typically take in Thailand?
Timelines vary considerably depending on the size of the estate, whether there are disputes, and court scheduling. A straightforward matter might be resolved in a few months; more complex estates take longer. We provide honest estimates once we understand the specifics of your situation, and we keep you updated at each stage.
Can you help if the deceased had assets in more than one country?
Cross-border estates involve additional complexity, including questions about which jurisdiction's law applies to which assets. We can help you understand the Thai aspects of the matter and, where needed, coordinate with counsel in other countries. We will be clear about what falls within our scope and what does not.
Is my initial enquiry confidential?
Yes. Everything you share with us — from the first conversation onwards — is treated as strictly confidential. We do not discuss client matters with third parties without your explicit consent.
How are your fees structured?
Our fees are set out clearly on our services page, starting from ฿1,800 for an estate planning conversation, ฿5,800 for probate administration, and ฿9,500 for dispute guidance. Where a matter is more involved than standard scope, we discuss this with you in advance and agree a way forward before any additional work proceeds.
Can I come to your office, or do you also work remotely?
Both are available. Our office is at 38/9 Rama IX Road in Huai Khwang, Bangkok, and we welcome in-person visits. We also hold consultations by video call for clients who are abroad or prefer not to travel.
